Bomi Lee is an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Russian and East Asian Languages and Cultures at Emory University. She holds a Master of Arts in Korean Language and Literature from Yonsei University (2018) and is a Ph.D. candidate at the same institution. Her research focuses on Korean language education, sociolinguistics, and computational linguistics, with a particular emphasis on learner corpus analysis, AI-driven language tools, and second language acquisition.

Her publications and presentations address topics like lexical density in learner speech, textbook readability, and formulaic approaches to text difficulty measurement. She actively engages in collaborative research funded by institutions like the National Institute of the Korean Language and the National Research Foundation of Korea.
