Juliet Kiguli

Dr. Juliet Kiguli serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Community Health and Behavioural Sciences at Makerere University School of Public Health, Kampala, Uganda.

Her academic foundation includes a BA in Social Sciences and Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Makerere University, an MA from the Institute of Social Studies (The Hague, Netherlands), and a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Cologne, Germany.

Her research integrates qualitative-led approaches to address critical public health challenges including food policy implementation in school feeding programs, vaccine efficacy, One Health frameworks, stillbirth prevention, non-communicable disease management (focusing on type 2 diabetes and cancers), gender-sensitive interventions, and community health systems strengthening across Ugandan contexts.
