She currently supports grant applications and collaborates with academics, students, and primary care staff to advance research initiatives.
Her education includes BSc, BA, and MSc qualifications. She has contributed to large-scale studies such as the National Evaluation of Sure Start and Family Nurse Partnership programs, involving over 50 researchers from 2001 to 2016. Her research emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches, particularly in substance use and intimate partner violence (IPV), integrating qualitative and quantitative methods.
Key areas of interest include the interplay between substance use and IPV, behavioral interventions for low back pain, and patient engagement in chronic diseases like multiple sclerosis. Her work bridges clinical practice and policy, addressing gaps in mental health economics and healthcare delivery.
Publications highlight methodological rigor, including feasibility trials (e.g., ADVANCE intervention) and systematic reviews on substance dependency. She has also explored the socioeconomic impacts of mental health conditions such as social phobia and childhood conduct disorder.
