Juliet Chang Knapton is a Part-Time Lecturer and Advocate-in-Residence at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. She has taught at the university since 2011 and serves as a Mentor and Assessor for the Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Law Practice Program. Her legal career spans civil litigation, federal tribunal adjudication, and international experience in Colombia and Pakistan.

Juliet's work focuses on legal education, inclusion/diversity initiatives, and advocacy. She has written and presented extensively on IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) frameworks in legal systems and community engagement. Her international legal training includes a term at the Centre for National Security Studies (Washington, D.C.), a legal clinic at the University of Witwatersrand (Johannesburg), and a clerkship at the Federal Court of Canada.
As a trained mediator and workplace investigator, Juliet chairs the Roundtable of Legal Diversity Associations (RODA) and has held leadership roles in the Ontario Bar Association. She has volunteered with organizations like the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers and Emily Murphy Non-Profit Housing in Ottawa.
