Julien MOUSQUES

Julien Mousques is a part-time Lecturer-Researcher in Health Economics at EHESP School of Public Health, affiliated with the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences and the ARÈNES laboratory (UMR CNRS 6051). He concurrently serves as a part-time Research Director at Irdes (Institute for Research and Documentation in Health Economics).

Education:

• Postgraduate Diploma in Economics and Management of Health Systems, University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (1999)
• Doctorate in Economics, University of Paris Dauphine (2014)
• Currently pursuing HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches)

Research Interests: Mousques conducts applied research in health economics, focusing on health care organization, regulation, and financing. His work examines integration and teamwork in primary care, the economic performance implications of care delivery models, and the geographical distribution of health professionals. He investigates how alternative remuneration models and organizational structures can enhance efficiency and overcome barriers to integrated care.

Scientific Awards:

• Harkness Fellowship in Health Care Policy and Practice (The Commonwealth Fund, 2015-2016)

Advising and Grants: He co-supervises doctoral students and mentors Master's level interns. His research is funded through multiple projects including ERA2 (evaluation of alternatives to fee-for-service), Etapes (telemedicine evaluation), and projects on human resources (Rosam, OASES, Mobilis, Drink) and integration (EOS, Daphnee, Mosaïque, Peipa).

Labs and Teams: Mousques is an active member of the ARÈNES laboratory and serves on the Board of Directors of the College of Health Economists since 2014.
