Julien Jacqmin

Julien Jacqmin is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Finance Department of NEOMA Business School. He teaches Economics 1 in the PGE program and Managerial Economics in the GEMBA program. His research focuses on the impact of new technologies in education and energy sectors, employing both theoretical and empirical analysis. He coordinates the NEOsmart project, a peer-tutoring initiative.

Key research areas include energy economics (focusing on grid policies, prosumers, and renewable integration), education economics (ranking systems, edtech sustainability, and institutional policies), and regulatory frameworks. Recent work addresses issues like student-driven university ranking methodologies and fiscal decentralization effects on higher education performance.
