Julien Harou

Julien Harou is a Professor of Water Management and Chair of Water Engineering at the University of Manchester, affiliated with the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering. His research focuses on modeling water resource systems, economic drivers of water use, infrastructure optimization, and sustainable water allocation under uncertainty.

• Collaborations with UK regulators, water companies, and global institutions (World Bank, WWF, IUCN)

He co-led the Belmont Partner initiative and chaired sessions at EGU 2012 and iEMSs 2012. His group includes 6 PhD students and a post-doc.
