Julie Traulle

Ms. Julie Traulle is a Professor at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, affiliated with the Faculty of Law and Political Science and the Department of Private Law. She co-directs the L3 program and oversees doctoral supervision in the DANTE laboratory.

Education:

• Aggregation in Private Law and Criminal Sciences (July 2015)
• Doctorate in Private Law (June 2006), thesis on eviction of Article 1382 of the Civil Code in extra-contractual matters
• DEA in Private Law (University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, June 2001), top of class with honors

Research Interests center on Civil Liability, Court of Cassation jurisprudence, Comparative Law, and Sources of Law, with a focus on contractual and tort law reforms in France and abroad.

Publications emphasize French Civil Liability Law, judicial motivations, and cross-jurisdictional comparisons with Belgium and Romania. Her work also explores art market liability, media law, and economic damages.

Professional Affiliations: She collaborates with research labs CESDIP, PRINTEMPS, and VIP, and directs the Civil Liability Case Law Column at Gaz. Pal.
