Dr. Julie Prowse is an Associate Professor at the School of Nursing & Healthcare Leadership, part of the Faculty of Health Studies at the University of Bradford. She specializes in public sector management with a focus on healthcare systems and workforce development. Her research explores NHS workforce dynamics, leadership development, and the socio-economic impacts of policies like the living wage in social care sectors.
Dr. Prowse has extensive experience in program development, notably co-creating the MSc International Health Management program delivered in Dubai. She collaborates with organizations such as the Yorkshire Cancer Network and Yorkshire Ambulance Service on workforce development initiatives. Her current research examines the living wage's effects on UK social care workers alongside trade union leadership strategies.
