Julie King

Julie King is a Lecturer within the Occupational Therapy and Art Therapy Division at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. She is affiliated with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (MRCOT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (MHCPC), with a focus on neurological practice and digital health innovations.

She has trained at Karolinska University, Sweden, and actively contributes to professional discourse through conference presentations.

Julie previously worked in homeless services and health promotion charities, focusing on marginalized populations such as sex workers, young adults with substance use issues, and young offenders. Her clinical experience spans re-ablement teams, care management, and neuro-inpatient settings.
