Dr. Julie Hunt is a Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Sciences at the University of Surrey’s School of Biosciences, part of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. She holds a BSc from the University of Brighton, an MSc from Loughborough University, and a PhD on peripheral vascular adaptations to resistance training with blood flow restriction. Her research focuses on skeletal muscle and vascular adaptations to exercise in healthy and clinical populations, particularly the mechanisms of ischemic strength training and its applications in rehabilitation.
As Programme Leader for the BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science course, she contributes to teaching and curriculum development.
