Dr. Julie Ham is Associate Professor of Sociology and Critical Criminology at Brock University. Her community-engaged research examines migration, sex work, and labor exploitation through intersectional frameworks. Awarded the Radzinowicz Prize in 2014, Ham investigates how anti-trafficking policies impact marginalized communities. Her participatory methodologies amplify migrant voices through projects like 'Mobile Methodologies and Migrant Knowledges'.
Teaching: Offers courses on criminal justice, human migration, and sex work regulation.
