Julie Casani

Julie Casani, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Public Health since 2023. She has held significant roles including Director of Public Health Preparedness at North Carolina State University, Medical Director of Student Health Services, and Chief Medical Adviser on COVID-19. Her career spans leadership in public health emergency response across state agencies and healthcare systems.
