Ellen Duysen

Ellen Duysen is a Research Professor in the Department of Environmental, Agricultural and Occupational Health at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from UNMC and a Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University. Her research focuses on agricultural safety and health, including strategies to prevent hearing and respiratory issues among farmers, emergency preparedness in rural communities, and training for healthcare providers in agricultural safety.

Professional experience includes roles as Research Assistant Professor (2023–present), Center Coordinator at the Central States Center for Agricultural Safety and Health (2011–2023), and Researcher at the Eppley Cancer Institute (1994–2011).
