Juliana Frankenfield is an Adjunct Professor of American Sign Language (ASL) in the Department of World Languages at Rowan University, part of the College of Humanities & Social Sciences. She teaches ASL at both secondary and collegiate levels and holds state K-12 certification in Teaching ASL as a World Language, along with Professional Certification from the ASL Teachers Association. She is a Fulbright Scholar, having conducted research in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Research & Professional Interests: Her work focuses on ASL linguistics, interpreter education, and Deaf Culture. She has expertise in medical, religious, and educational interpreting, holding certifications including National Interpreter Certification (RID) and NJ Educational Interpreter certification. She has taught courses such as Linguistics of ASL, Ethics for Educational Interpreters, and Interpreting Lab/Practicum in Interpreter Training Programs.
