Dr. Julian Owen is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Psychology and Sports Science, Bangor University. With a background in applied physiology and 8 years of professional sports science experience in football, rugby union, and hockey, he leads injury epidemiology research with a focus on rugby player welfare. As Director of the Rugby Information Exchange and Sports Injuries Lead for the Welsh Institute of Performance Science, he bridges cutting-edge research with practical applications.
