Julian Klaus

Prof. Dr. Julian Klaus is a Professor of Physical Geography/Hydrology at the Institute for Geography, University of Bonn, where he leads the Hydrology Research Group. His work focuses on critical zone science, catchment hydrology, ecohydrology, and numerical modeling, with field sites across Europe, North America, and West Africa. He is actively involved in teaching, research, and international collaboration.

He is also an Associate Editor for Ecohydrology and a peer reviewer for numerous journals and funding agencies.

Labs and Teams: He leads the Hydrology Research Group at the University of Bonn, which includes postdocs (e.g., Dr. Clarissa Glaser) and PhD students.
