Johannes Scherer is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Hydrology research group of the University of Bonn since 2025. He holds a Master of Science in Geography (2023) and a Bachelor of Science in Geography (2019), both from the University of Bonn, where his theses focused on nitrate behavior and nitrogen inputs in streams.
