Julian Droogan is Professor and Head of the School of International Studies at Macquarie University. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Policing, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism and co-convenes the AVERT Research Network. His research focuses on online extremism, disinformation, South Asian violent extremism, and terrorist cultures, with projects funded by Australian and US defense departments, NSW Government, and US Institute of Peace.
