Julia Steuber

Julia Steuber is a Researcher in the Department of Didactics of Social Sciences at the University of Siegen's Faculty I. Since March 2025, she has been a Research Associate in the Collaborative Research Center “Transformations of the Popular.” Her work focuses on integrating 'The Popular in School' into educational practices. Previously, she taught at the Comprehensive School Auf dem Schießberg/Siegen (2018–2025) and completed a teacher traineeship at Gymnasium am Löhrtor/Siegen (2016–2018). She holds a degree in German and Social Sciences from the University of Siegen (2010–2016).

Research Priorities:
Her current research explores how popular culture and societal trends influence educational frameworks and pedagogical strategies. She emphasizes practical applications of sociopolitical education and curriculum design.
