Julia Schaumburg

Julia Schaumburg is a Professor and Department Head at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (School of Business and Economics) and a Research Professor at the Leibniz Institute for Economic Research Halle (IWH). She obtained her Ph.D. from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (2013) and is a research fellow at the Tinbergen Institute. Her work bridges econometric theory with practical applications in macro-finance, financial stability, and climate economics.
