Julia Krout

Julia Krout is an Assistant Professor at Delaware Valley University's Animal Biotechnology & Conservation Department, returning to her alma mater in 2022. She holds a B.S. in Small Animal Science from DelVal (2004) and a Master’s of Laboratory Animal Science (MLAS) from Drexel University. Her career spans over 18 years in scientific research with diverse animal models, including Aquatics, Gnotobiotics, and NHPs, alongside compliance and training roles. She worked at institutions like Weill Cornell, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and NYU Langone Health in NYC, earning certifications such as Certified Manager of Animal Resources and completing the Institute for Laboratory Animal Management program. Krout is a 2024 Marquis Who's Who inductee, recognizing her contributions to her field.
