Audrey Ervin

Dr. Audrey Ervin is a Professor of Counseling Psychology and Academic Program Director for the Graduate Counseling Psychology program at Delaware Valley University. She is a licensed psychologist with expertise in multicultural competence, transgender identities, and mindfulness-based interventions.

Her research focuses on diversity issues in therapy, including gender, sexual orientation, racial identity, and mindfulness applications. She has authored articles on pandemic-related mental health, imposter syndrome, and social media wellbeing.

Dr. Ervin has received accolades such as DelVal’s Distinguished Faculty Member Award, recognition in '40 under 40' by The Bucks County Courier Times, and inclusion in the '99 Top Professors in Counseling, Psychology, and Therapy' list.

She actively contributes to diversity initiatives as co-chair of DelVal’s President's Commission on Diversity and Inclusion and Doylestown Pride. Dr. Ervin also operates Ervin Counseling & Consulting, LLC, and delivers national/international lectures on multicultural practices.
