Julia Kashdan-Brown is a Lecturer in the Department of Architecture & Civil Engineering at the University of Bath. She has served as a Teaching Fellow and Studio Tutor since 2009, teaching in Years 3 and 4 and providing student placement support.
Her research focuses on Urban Design, Architecture, and Arts-related Buildings, emphasizing collaboration with artists and local communities. This expertise is complemented by her practical experience in diverse building sectors and her role as a printmaker.
Julia co-founded Kashdan Brown Architecture & Urban Design (KBAUD) with her husband Julian Kashdan-Brown, integrating skills from architectural design, artist collaborations, and urban development appraisal. Previously, she was a Partner at Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios LLP for 21 years.
