Dr. Robert Grover is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Bath's Department of Architecture & Civil Engineering, affiliated with the Centre for Climate Adaptation & Environment Research (CAER) and the Centre for Regenerative Design & Engineering for a Net Positive World (RENEW). His work focuses on integrating sustainability into architectural practice and education, with expertise in design theory, sustainable retrofitting, and urbanism. He teaches in the design studio, leading the 3rd-year BSc Architecture studio and courses on sustainable design and digital skills.
Education:
- PhD in Architectural Pedagogy, University of Bath (2019)
- MPhil in Architectural Design, University of Bath (2016)
Research Interests: Sustainable architecture, design pedagogy, urban sustainability, architectural typology, and net-zero design. He explores frameworks for embedding sustainability in educational and professional contexts.
