Julia I. Giblin is a Professor of Anthropology and Director of Anthropology at Quinnipiac University's College of Arts & Sciences. She combines archaeological chemistry with bioanthropology to study prehistoric European diets, mobility patterns, and cultural heritage.

Her research focuses on Bronze Age Europe, using isotope analysis to reconstruct ancient lifeways and mortuary practices. She explores connections between diet, environment, and social organization while integrating Indigenous perspectives into university land stewardship.
Recent publications highlight interdisciplinary approaches to Bronze Age communities, isotopic methodologies, and human-environment interactions. Her work spans from Late Pleistocene forager societies to 2021 studies on Caucasus metallurgy and Hungarian ceramic analysis.
