Julia Glaum

Julia Glaum is a Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Faculty of Natural Sciences. Her research focuses on advanced materials, including piezoelectric ceramics, biomedical applications of materials, and nanocomposites. She has contributed significantly to understanding material synthesis, characterization, and their functional properties across various disciplines.

Her work spans electroceramics, ferroelectric materials, and their applications in energy, biomedical devices, and environmental science. Recent studies include optimizing piezoelectric properties under mechanical stress, developing porous electroceramics via additive manufacturing, and investigating oxygen absorption in hexagonal manganites.
