Jui-Te Lin, Ph.D., PT is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Seton Hall University. He works on the Interprofessional Health Sciences Campus and teaches foundational science courses like Physiology and Pathophysiology, as well as rehabilitation technology, across the DPT program. He also lectures on Neuroscience for DPT, OT, and PA students.
Lin earned his doctoral degree in Applied Physiology from Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s in Rehabilitation Science and Technology from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining Seton Hall full-time, he completed a two-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago).
- Research Focus: Neuromodulation, seating and mobility, and motor control for individuals with walking disorders.
- Professional Roles: Serves on the DPT admission committee, SHMS anatomy faculty search committee, and educational policy committee. Also acts as a reviewer for top-tier rehabilitation journals.
His area of specialization includes neuromuscular disorders, physiology, motor control, assistive technology, locomotion, and neuromodulation. He is actively developing neuromodulation and biomechanics studies for those with neuromuscular disorders.
