Dr. Judy Holiday is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Rhetoric and Communication Studies at the University of La Verne’s College of Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on postmodern ethics, particularly the intersection of ethics in writing pedagogy and the politics of difference. She holds a Ph.D. in English from Arizona State University (2012) and has published extensively in journals like Rhetoric Review and Composition Forum.

- Current Work: Book project analyzing violence as a cultural construct
Her publications include co-edited volumes such as Reinventing (with) Theory in Rhetoric and Writing Studies (2019) and What We Wish We’d Known: Negotiating Graduate School (2015). She received the Kellie Rayburn Memorial Award (honorable mention) for her scholarly contributions.
