Andrea J. Severson is an Instructor in the Department of English at Arizona State University (ASU). She holds a Ph.D. in Writing, Rhetoric, and Literacies from ASU (2018), with a focus on fashion rhetoric and material culture. Since 2010, she has taught at ASU and Maricopa County Community Colleges, combining academic instruction with prior experience as a theatrical and film costume designer. She was a Board member of the Arizona Costume Institute (2011–2014).
