Judith van Erp

Prof. Judith van Erp is a Professor of Regulatory Governance at Utrecht University's School of Governance, affiliated with the strategic theme 'Institutions for Open Societies'. She specializes in regulatory enforcement, corporate crime, and governance of corporate behavior. Her work emphasizes innovative regulatory forms to address global market dynamics and corporate misconduct. She is a member of the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences (KNAW) and the Netherlands Board on Research Integrity. Her research focuses on regulatory disclosure, 'naming and shaming', and media framing of corporate crime, with current projects on regulatory agency reputations and enforcement strategies.
