Judith Tröndle

Judith Tröndle is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Education and Social Work within the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences at the University of Luxembourg. Her work bridges sociological and interdisciplinary perspectives on disability, gender, couples, and inclusion.

Her research focuses on processes of othering, subjectivation, and stigmatization in intimate relationships, particularly where children with disabilities are involved. Methodologically, she employs qualitative approaches like hermeneutics, biographical analysis, and discourse analysis.

Judith’s recent publications examine caregivers’ roles, collective action in social work, and affective dynamics in partnerships. These works span interdisciplinary intersections of disability studies, sociology, and gender theory.
