She holds a PhD from the University of Zurich (2018), an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a BA from the University of Basel. Her research focuses on exclusionary attitudes (e.g., anti-immigration policies), judicial behavior, and collective memory, employing mixed-methods approaches including quasi-experimental and historical data analysis. Her work bridges political theory and empirical research, examining topics like media influence on immigration referendums, the impact of asylum salience on judicial rulings, and gender inequality in domestic labor. Notable publications include studies in Political Communication and the American Journal of Political Science. She is also co-founder of the PONYclub, a network supporting women in political science.
