Judith Feder

Judith Feder is Professor of Public Policy at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy, where she served as dean from 1999-2008. A nationally recognized health policy expert, her work addresses health insurance systems through scholarship and public service. Her government experience includes roles as staff director for the congressional Pepper Commission and principal deputy assistant secretary at HHS during the Clinton administration.

Research focuses on health policy reform with emphasis on Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act, cost containment, and long-term care services. Professional affiliations include advisory roles with AcademyHealth, the Hamilton Project, and Urban Institute.
