Jozef Vander Sloten is a Full Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering Sciences, KU Leuven. He leads the Biomechanics Division and multiple subdivisions, while serving as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences and Head of the Faculty of Engineering Services. His research focuses on skeletal biomechanics, computer-aided surgery systems, and rehabilitation/prevention biomechanics, with applications in additive manufacturing for medical implants and in silico trials.
