Emmanuel Vander Poorten is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering Technology, KU Leuven, specializing in surgical robotics and medical device design. He leads the Robotics, Automation and Mechatronics (RAM) research group and serves as head of the RAS subdivision.
