Joyeeta Gupta

Joyeeta Gupta is a Professor of Law and Policy in Water Resources and Environment at the University of Amsterdam (Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research) and IHE Delft Institute for Water Education. She specializes in environment and development issues in the Global South, with a focus on water governance. She serves as Editor-in-Chief of International Environmental Agreements: Politics, Law and Economics, and sits on editorial boards of journals like Carbon and Environmental Science and Policy. Her work emphasizes interlinkages between climate change, water systems, and sustainable development.
