Joyce Green is an Adjunct Professor in the International Psychology department at The Chicago School. A licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and Board Certified Registered Art Therapist, she specializes in diversity, immigration/immigrant issues, and art therapy.

Her research focuses on arts-based methodologies for examining immigration and acculturation experiences, particularly among Lao and Korean elder communities. She explores cultural preservation, mental health disparities, and mixed-methods approaches to global health challenges. Her recent work addresses crisis resilience through international collaborations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Green's publications emphasize cross-cultural mental health interventions, global education frameworks, and post-conflict community development. She received the California Humanities, Humanities for All Grant and the LA2050 Project Grant for her (re)Location: Lao and Korean Acculturation Project.
Professional affiliations include serving as VP Communication and Publications in APA Division 52 and as Secretary of the Southern California Art Therapy Association.
