Dr. Joy Rumble is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership at The Ohio State University, affiliated with the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES). Her work focuses on science communication, public perception of biotechnology, and agricultural education strategies. She advises graduate student Sherifat Alabi and has been recognized with the CFAES STARS Program Cohort selection (2023) and the Ohio State ATI Outstanding Advisor award (2023).
Dr. Rumble’s research bridges communication theory and practice, addressing topics such as gene editing perceptions, consumer behavior in food systems, and Extension program efficacy.
