Joy Butcher is a Senior Lecturer in Learning & Development and Human Resource Management (HRM) at the Oxford Brookes Business School, Oxford Brookes University. She specializes in postgraduate teaching for HRM Professional Development Programmes and oversees academic partnerships with Associate Colleges including Abingdon & Witney College, Solihull College & University Centre, and Wiltshire College & University Centre. Her research focuses on Learning & Development and Coaching, with a 2012 publication in the International Journal of Evidence Based Coaching & Mentoring. She holds a MA in Human Resource Management and MA in Coaching & Mentoring Practice.
