Josua Oll

Dr. Josua Oll is a researcher at the University of Oldenburg's School II, Department of Business Administration, Economics and Law, focusing on sustainability management. He joined the Management Research Group as a postdoctoral researcher in 2019. His work addresses sustainable strategies, business models, and reporting in the context of environmental and digital disruptions. Oll holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Hamburg (2019), an MA from the University of Kassel, an MSc from the University of St Andrews, and a BSc from Maastricht University.

Research interests include sustainability reporting materiality, climate change impacts on investments, and methodological innovations like eye-tracking experiments. His work has been published in top journals such as Business & Society and Organization & Environment. Notable achievements include the Dr. Walter Kapaun Study Prize (2020) and an oikos Case Writing Competition win (2016).

Oll has conducted research stays at the University of Southern Denmark and ETH Zurich, and worked at Commerzbank’s Corporate Responsibility department and the Wuppertal Institute. His research bridges academic rigor with practical applications in sustainable finance and corporate strategy.
