Remmer Sassen

Remmer Sassen is a Professor of Business Administration, specializing in Environmental Management at Dresden University of Technology (TU Dresden) since October 2020. He also represents the Chair of Business Administration, specifically Sustainability Management and Environmental Accounting of Prof. Dr. Edeltraud Günther within the Faculty of Economics. His academic journey includes significant research positions at the University of Hamburg and international research stays at Johns Hopkins University, Macquarie University, and UC Berkeley.

His educational background includes a Master of Higher Education from the University of Hamburg, a Magister Artium in Political and Business Science, and a Diplom-Kaufmann in Business Management and Law from Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg. His research interests focus on sustainability management, environmental accounting, corporate governance, and biodiversity management within higher education institutions and financial sectors.
