Josip Guć is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Teacher Education, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split, Croatia. He also serves as Head of the Centre for Integrative Bioethics and has held prior roles as Teaching Assistant and Secretary at the same center.
- Education: PhD in Philosophy (2021), MA in History and Philosophy (2016), BA in History and Philosophy (2014), all from the University of Split.
Guć's research focuses on Bioethics, Moral Philosophy, and the intersection of Education, Culture, and Nature. His work explores topics like zoonotic pandemics, animal ethics, Kantian frameworks, Paulo Freire’s pedagogy, and Mediterranean bioethical identities.
Recent publications highlight trends in Mediterranean bioethics, pandemic ethics, cross-cultural moral attitudes, and the integration of bioethical principles into educational practices. His scholarly output spans monographs, edited volumes, and interdisciplinary studies across Europe.
