Josip Guć is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Split, Faculty of Philosophy, specializing in the Department of Teacher Education. He teaches courses such as Philosophy of Education, Philosophical Counseling, and Logic. His research focuses on bioethics, moral philosophy, and the philosophy of education, with particular attention to contemporary issues like pandemic ethics, animal ethics, and critical thinking development in education. He has published in journals like Jahr and Synthesis philosophica, and authored works exploring bioethical frameworks in educational contexts. He is affiliated with research centers at the Faculty, including the Scientific Center of Excellence for Integrative Bioethics.
His work bridges philosophical theory with practical applications in education and ethics, addressing topics such as the moral implications of industrial animal farming and the intersection of cultural and natural ethics. He holds a Ph.D. and is accessible via jguc@ffst.hr.
