Joshua Della Vedova is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Sydney and completed his BComm Hons I and BS in Finance and Psychology, respectively, at the University of Wollongong.

His research explores Behavioral Finance, focusing on investor behavior around stock price anomalies, market microstructure, and the influence of social capital in financial markets. His work has been recognized at international conferences including AFA, FMA, EFMA, and the Behavioral Finance and Capital Markets Conference.
Recent publications highlight his interdisciplinary approach, combining finance with AI (rare event detection in manufacturing) and engineering management (reverse innovation). Other themes include cryptocurrency risk analysis, trading constraints, and psychological market barriers.
