Joshua Daniels-Holgate

Joshua Daniels-Holgate is a postdoctoral fellow at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem since completing his PhD in September 2023. His research focuses on geometric analysis, specializing in the mean curvature flow. His PhD supervisor was Prof. Felix Schulze.

His research interests include geometric flows, singularities in geometric evolution equations, and partial differential equations. He has delivered invited talks at institutions such as OvGU Magdeburg (Germany), the University of Oxford (UK), Rutgers (USA), and the MFO in Oberwolfach (Germany).

His work emphasizes the approximation of mean curvature flow with generic singularities using smooth flows with surgery, as evidenced by his 2022 publication in Advances in Mathematics.
