Professor Felix Schulze is a faculty member in the Mathematics Institute at the University of Warwick, specializing in the Geometric Analysis Group. Previously, he held professorships at University College London (UCL) and led an Emmy Noether Junior Research Group at Free University Berlin. His research focuses on Differential Geometry, Partial Differential Equations, and Geometric Analysis, with a particular emphasis on geometric flows (e.g., mean curvature flow, Ricci flow), minimal surfaces, and Willmore surfaces. He has contributed to understanding singularity formation, generic initial data in flows, and applications across geometric, variational, and topological problems.
His academic roles include editorial board memberships for Advances in Differential Equations and Publications of the LMS. He actively supervises PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, including current advisees Žan Bajuk and Laura Bradby, and former students like Lucas Lavoyer. His work has been published in top journals such as Inventiones Mathematicae and Duke Mathematical Journal.
Recent activities include organizing the Brussels-London Geometry Seminar and participating in international conferences on geometric analysis. His teaching spans advanced courses on partial differential equations, multivariable analysis, and geometric analysis, reflecting his expertise and dedication to education.
