Miles Simon

Prof. Miles Simon is a University Professor at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg since 2011. His academic journey includes postdoctoral positions at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences (Leipzig) and Humboldt University Berlin, followed by a long tenure at Albert Ludwigs University Freiburg until 2012. He earned his PhD from Melbourne University in 1997 and completed his habilitation at Freiburg in 2007. Simon specializes in geometric analysis, with a focus on Ricci flow, mean curvature flow, and geometric PDEs.
