Joshua Conyers

Joshua Conyers is an Assistant Professor of Voice at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester. A Grammy-nominated baritone, he has performed with prestigious opera companies worldwide including The Metropolitan Opera and Lyric Opera of Chicago. His performances have been acclaimed by The New York Times and Washington Post.

Research interests focus on vocal pedagogy, operatic performance techniques, and community engagement through music. He actively mentors young musicians through organizations like the Newark Boys Chorus School.

Honors include a Grammy nomination for his recording work and multiple scholarship awards during his studies. He holds degrees from UNC School of the Arts and Indiana University.
