Joshua Castellino serves as Executive Dean of the College of Arts, Law & Social Sciences at Brunel University London, bringing over 30 years of integrated academic and human rights practice. His institutional leadership spans current deanship at Brunel, former Co-Directorship of Minority Rights Group International, and ongoing chairmanship of Privacy International (UK), complemented by visiting professorships across the UK, Ireland, Poland, and Australia.
His educational foundation includes a doctorate in international law (1998 Chevening Fellow) preceded by journalistic work in India. This dual trajectory informs his distinctive scholarly approach:
